So I'm not sure if it's my camera, memory card, or software, but it keeps having errors with converting to DNG/JPG and I'm getting peeved, not to mention it's taking way longer than it should, which is why I'm not totally up to date with my photos. They're all sitting somewhere on my HD right now waiting to be processed.
A good day. Went over to Willi's and learned how to throw a tomahawk then I took him and Matt out to W.VA to go shooting. Popped Willi's handgun cherry and Matt tore it up with my baby kalashnikov.
Went down to Mystic with the parental units. Lily is a sucker for aquariums and the one at Mystic is super friendly to the sub 4 foot tall crowd. At Mystic Aquarium they had a small tank set up with a couple of mermaid's purses with small holes cut into them so you could see the live embryos. Was pretty cool. We had a blast there, then we went over to Mystic Pizza for lunch so that Lily and Kimberly could gorge on tasty Pizza.
Not a whole lot went down today. Some general hanging around the homestead and such. Lily was cranky. Dad, Kimberly and I drove down to Hartford to check out the sale at Cabella's. Then we stopped by an awesome Diner on the way home that had some amazing burgers piled high with fried onions (not to mention the bangin' onion rings that are battered right there).
St. Valentine's day... Also, the Special Olympics MA passion plunge date in Worcester. So, we went because my Mom was jumping into a hole cut in the ice. Also, as I found out the night before, I had been volunteered to be the official photographer for the day and the only camera I had with me was my g10.
It's long overdue but it is time to get caught up on my bloginating. I have been taking my photos, I just have not been posting them because I was out of town for a week, then busy working on my pimpin myself out website www.billharnerphotography.com
Ah yes, one more day of hot weather. Last night night we had thunderstorms and wind gusts in the 50 mph range. Today we had pretty constant wind in the 20mph range with gusts into the 50 mph range every 3-5 minutes. Skiing was a bit "interesting" today. Here's what the "snow" on Dixie looked like this afternoon.
